Just to put it to rest, Rhonda, my speech volume is at 5, and I
boosted the DAISY playback volume as far as it will go. The audio
file is recorded at normal volume. The Volume of the DAISY recording
is much lower than the speech volume, and I can't increase it any
more. I do not experience the same problem with MP3 music files in
the media player. I think it is a flaw in the KS7.2 implementation of
DAISY, but no one else has noted it so far, so perhaps my situation is
unique.

Hi Graham:

For the first part of your question, which is all I can respond
to, what is your normal volume level set to? If you do Options,
then R, and you press the space bar, if your volume level is on
five, it does much better. I cannot remember if you are using
the BT or the QT. If you are using the BT, does it help if you
press dots 46 with Enter? On the QT, Function with Period
sometimes helps.

Warm Regards,
Rhonda Clark,
Illinois
