Tomi I thought ou had dial up at home and in that case your card probably wouldn't work because you need high speed interent and a router in addition to the wireless card. Sorry if yyyou knew this already or if it has been talked about before.

Subject: [Braillenote] re : access point not working

Hi alex and List,

Well actually, my card is between cilicon heaven and earth.
Sometimes it works, and other times it just says " no visible
network " . But other times, it says " list of available
networks ". I think I know why this is.

The top of the card ( where the thick part is ) moves back and
forth. If this antenna part is moved outward, then it does not
see any networks. If it's moved back, networks are detected and
it card works great. This is a sandisk connect + 128 mb cf card
If any of you have this card, could you tell me if this top
part moves for you? If it does not, then this is a factory error
( they made the card in a cheap Chinese factory ) . If it does,
then this is a manufacturing error. These cards have two years
of warranty.

Regards:

Tomi
