The problem is that, without somehow getting a LAN card for my BN, my only web option at school is USB. My school's computer tech has refused to let me use a wireless router (which didn't work anyway) and I am basically stuck. Oh, well, thanks for the info. It will save me trying everything to get that network to show up; I know that it will not happen. That would be a nice thing for a future version of ActiveSync, if possible. Speaking of which, what is so great about the ActiveSync 4.5 beta, and will it work with a BN?

Have a great day,
Alex

Alex,
Yyes, USB connection allows you to have the Internet connection,
not the
network, to be rerouted to your BrailleNote. The network
redirection is not
supported by Windows CE (USB is solely used for ActiveSync and/or
connecting
to the Internet; network connection fulfills both roles, so with
this, you
can browse both the Internet and the network..

Subject: [Braillenote] Accessing a network through USB

Hi all:

When I am connected to wireless, I can obviously access my
network. Is there
a way for me to be able to access that network when sharing a web
connection
with a computer using USB (connected to ActiveSync)? If not, can
this be
added to the KS Suggestions Vault?
Have a great day,
Alex
