That is because there is no record switch, and the battery type that is used
by Classic is different than mPower (Classic uses Nickel Metal Hydride,
where as mPower (or possibile PK) uses Lithium Ion batery cell).

Now I look into it further, it won't work - the rellevent switch isn't in
the classic, so it can't be used anyway.
