Hi Sharon,

There are several things to do here.
1. to get active sync to recognize your PK, you may have to do a re-set while the PK is plugged in to the USB cable. It may help if you give a step-by-step explanation of what you've done, but if you plug in your PK and active sync doesn't find it fairly quickly, try doing a c1c4 re-set. You hold both c1 and c4 down until you hear a descending tone and the braille display says "off." Then, hold c1 and c4 down again until you hear another tone. The braille display will say "brailleNote PK" and when it gets to main menu, you should hear the tones of active sync connecting.

Now, assuming that works, you will need to have KeySync installed and running, then pick a new partnership from the active sync choices. Your choices will be new partnership or guest partnership.

On the PK, go into the utilities menu, under synchronization and go through the settings there to determine what things are synchronized between the PK and the computer. All this also assumes you are using Outlook and not Outlook Express for your contacts and calendar.

It gets a little complicated, but once you get things working it is great!

Feel free to write me off list if you need more details.

Enjoy,
Richard
