Diane and list,
You don't have to have the mPower connected to the AC adapter. What I've
observed is that it is wuite slow to read data on a USB storage device, such
hard disk and thumb drive.

Subject: [Braillenote] USB THUMB DRIVES AND HARD DRIVES

Hi, Everyone!

For those of you who uses the USB Thumb Drives and Harddisk Drives, do they
draw a lot of power from the BN being as they do not have a power supply of
their own? Are there particular brands, or models, which draw more power
than others? Should I keep my MPower plugged in when I get it when using
these types of devices?

Just exploring options before I do my transplant. Getting excited about it
even though it's still two months away. <smiling
