Diane and list, You don't have to have the mPower connected to the AC adapter. What I've observed is that it is wuite slow to read data on a USB storage device, such hard disk and thumb drive.

For those of you who uses the USB Thumb Drives and Harddisk Drives, do they draw a lot of power from the BN being as they do not have a power supply of their own? Are there particular brands, or models, which draw more power than others? Should I keep my MPower plugged in when I get it when using these types of devices? Just exploring options before I do my transplant. Getting excited about it even though it's still two months away. <smiling Diane Garrett/Leader Yetta Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Phone: (918) 664-5731 ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
