Jason and Cindy,
Windows XP Service Pack 2 natively supports most Bluetooth dongles (that's
what people call these USB plugs). In rare cases, it requires drivers. If
Window-Eyes ever support USB connection with the BN, it will work unless you
chage the ActiveSync config on your BrailleNote and your computer (yes,
that's another factor to consider).

There's a factor I didn't even consider. I can't imagine that my college
would like me to install something like that, when they won't even let me
install my Window Eyes on their machines (they feel its necessary that they
do it, with my detailed instructions to walk them threw it of course).

The problem with this is that you can't install your own bluetooth adapter
on computers at school. Bluetooth adapters are not entirely plug and play
(in my experience) if anyone knows different, please let us all know. My
experience is that the adapter needs the software installed on the system in
order to set up pairings. IF USB was supported, it could plug into a
computer and not need to be installed but simply restart JAWS/Window Eyes
for the braille support to take effect.
