Hi Sylvia and others.

I use my BN in Church, in Bible study and yes, at one point when I did
preach a sermon.  I've never had a problem with anybody rejecting: quite
the opposite.  They've been fascinated by my BN.  However, if anybody
has, I would suggest they contact a disability advocacy body to take
this up.  No organization or individual should be able to get away with
discrimination, and perhaps that particular church just needs some firm
education.

yes they do allow you to use your braille notes and many of us do 
so in the uk and some even preach from the pulpit using the 
braille notes.
