I am amazed at this conversation about rejecting a BrailleNote user in church. Why would anyone do that?
Kind Regards,

Hi Sylvia and others.

I use my BN in Church, in Bible study and yes, at one point when
I did
preach a sermon. I've never had a problem with anybody
rejecting: quite
the opposite. They've been fascinated by my BN. However, if
anybody
has, I would suggest they contact a disability advocacy body to
take
this up. No organization or individual should be able to get
away with
discrimination, and perhaps that particular church just needs
some firm
education.

Cheers!

Michele

I have changed the subject line

yes they do allow you to use your braille notes and many of us do
so in the uk and some even preach from the pulpit using the
braille notes.

May I ask, would the church allow worshippers to follow along
using an
MPower? Just curious. A very interesting idea though!

Ann;
Keep me in contact. I am also interested. It sure would be
neet to
take my M-power to church and be able to follow along.
Still interested in hymns. Never got the free hymnal a bible
study
group promiced me at convention. It was just the words. Terry

Hi Guys,

I'm on the trail. It's gettin' warmer, but I haven't been able
to
contact the lady. She's out of the office. Hang in there
folks.
I've often found that the best way to get info is to start at
the
original source. So, I'm hoping the Xavier Society does have
what
Mona wants. It may not be in electronic format, but it should
be in
hard copy Braille.
