hello Mrs. Campbell,
Mr. Sloane said in a later message which clarified the first
one that we should use this list for help as we've always done.
His second message said that if our problem could not be solved
by the list, which sometimes happens, that we should contact one
of the tech support facilities on his list. The list remains
valid for those wanting to use it, and with the list's help many
people may never have to contact tech support except for yearly
cleaning and battery checks.
At my first reading of his message I was of a mind to
unsubscribe from the list, but first a Mr. Bishop and later Mr.
Sloane clarified the intent of his original message.
As many of us sometimes do, I think Mr. Sloane posted his
message without completely proofreading it. When this happens,
mistakes can be made sometimes, however there is Diane's
conferencing call for compiling and prioritizing problems and
sending them directly to Humanware. Another thought, if you are
unsure whether your messages are being read by Humanware, it
won't make any difference whether you conference call, write to
the list, send your problem direct, or fill out a form on the
internet; there's no guarantee that your message will be read.
It has been my experience, to always receive a reply when I write
to someone on the Humanware staff directly. Try writing them
off-list, and they'll reply to you off-list.
Sammie Clay

Hi List:
Hilda Moreno gave us email addresses to post problems to
HumanWare staff. This is all fine and well, but, if we are going
to be given these addresses as the way to go, what is this list
for? We already know it's not for chitchat!
Any help or input would be welcome!
God bless and keep smiling!!
