Joseph,
Somehow, it still is saying that no display is the active braille display. I
have done as you said. Is there anything else I should do?
Thanks.

Sharondha,
Before you start your screen reader, connect your BrailleNote with the
serial cable. At the Main Menu, select Terminal for Screen Reader. If If
the
port prompt appears, select serial. Otherwise, Braille Terminal appears.
Then you should start the screen reader. Then the display will appear.

Subject: [Braillenote] Making the BrailleNote the Active Braille Display
Hello Listers,
I finally have a cord that works. Now, I'm having problems making the
BrailleNote the active display. I've added it and it is the default.
However, it doesn't say "Active." How can I make it the active display as
well as the default?
Thanks for writing back with help.
