Hi Joleen,
You may think your question is nebulous, but it really isn't. Here
are some questions you need answered.
1. Is Charter a pop account, or a web based one? If it's imap,
forget using the BrailleNote.
2. You need to know a couple of things before you set up your email.
First, your pop3 address, then your SMTP address (the address to
which outgoing mail is sent, next you need to know if Charter
requires password authentication. You probably also need to know
if when you type in your username you need to type in just the
stuff to the left of the at sign or the whole address.
Ask Charter, if you do speak to them, if they are sending and
receiving on the usual ports or not. That's about all I can think of
at the moment.
