The reason I ordered my PCMCIA adapter from HW is because I couldn't find one at the local computer places.

Can anyone suggest where I can get a PCMCIA adapter?

Thanks in advance.

Incidentally, at least in the case of my classic running 6.11,
the
Ambicom wireless card worked great in the side slot using a
PCMCIA
adapter.

The classic can use wireless, if you put a wireless card in the
CF
card slot. The mPower has built-in bluetooth hardware so you
can use
that with no extra cards. You still need a wireless card to do
Wi-Fi,
or 802.11b or whatever it's called.
regards,
Andy.
