Graham,
Make sure that you have copied the product key exe file, and from Nywhere
form your computer, rename it to pdiboot. This will ensure that it the
product key is installed.

Subject: [Braillenote] Installation problem.

Largely due to my own fault, I messed up the installation of the new version
on Keysoft on my VoiceNote by neglecting to do the first step of installing
the product key from the SD card.

It did its thing but then simply said
"Cannot run this version of Keysoft"

Thanks to support given to me by Rhonda Clark, I managed to get the Product
Key from the website and just need to get the machoone to ask for it.

Again, thanks to Rhonda, I have tried each the following several times

123 and reset

record button and reset

J L reset
F D
J K reset

I have tried these with the SD card in and the SD card out.

In all cases I just get a mesage saying
"Cannot run this version of Keysoft"
Press any other key and I get a whooshing noise and the VoiceNote stops
responding.

Has anybody got any more suggestions? Should I try reinstalling version
7.1, send it back to Humanware or just chuck it ot the window?

As you can tell, I am getting a bit tense.

Again, getting my knickers as badly twisted as this was moslty my fault but
the rather badly typed instruction sheet could have been better. It dd not
OCR very well. It seems that support is aimed primarily at braillers.
