Joleen, go ahead and delete your general folder. When you get to it, just go ahead and press Ctrl I. Do a reset with no keys held down. Your General folder will be recreated. You will have to say "yes" to erase the protected files.

Subject: [Braillenote] Daisy Book Help

Hi All,

I may have gotten myself into a bit of trouble here.

I went to Bookshare and decided to download my first Daisy book,
the Oregonian for today. It downloaded into my downloads folder.
When unpacking it, I downloaded it to my General folder on my
flash disk as an experiment. I know now that that was a bad
idea. There was room enough for it, though, but I have looked at
it and now want it off of there.

It is indeed a spirious book. When opening it in the book
reader, the title is Oregonian 10/09/06. It seems to be a hidden
book otherwise. When in the folder manager, I can choose erase.
Then I am given a series of files that are its sub files. If I
look for it with option "D" I can find "Oregonian 10/09/06. One
of my choices should be to delete it by pressing control with I.
Well, I get the message about deleting the folder and all of its
files. Thinking it may be a folder with the books inside it, I
choose to continue. Then it tells me that the embosser test A
file is protected. EEKS! It is trying to delete the whole
general folder, or so it seems.

How do I get rid of it?

Shall I delete the individual books that show up when I choose
the erase option from the file menu? Then, where is that overall
title hiding? How should I delete it?

If this makes any sense at all, please help!

I have studied the help for this and come up with a big
questionmark.

Joleen
