Oops, sorry, forgot about that setting preferred keyboard Braille grade preference to computer Braille discussion. So, guess one can tell that I didn't opt for that choice, either. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Turner" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, October 19, 2006 9:31 PM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Problem with joystick and planner
Hi, If you set your default braille preference to computer braille, I think the joystick works everywhere. I'm personally not going to do this. As for the planner, the standard commands work there. chord+dot 4 goes down and chord+dot 1 goes up on any given day. If you are on the last appointment of that day, you will go to the first appointment on the next day using chord+dot 4 and the reverse of course using chord+dot 1. I assume you know to use chord+dots 56 to jump forward a day once you are in a day, and chord+dots 2,3 to go back. I cannot wait for the joystick problem to be fixed since that is my preferred method for scrolling through appointments. I also wish they would make the joystick scroll the braille display left or right when you flip it that way. I hope this helped, Richard ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
