Sammie I always have my machine locking up and when ever I turn bluetooth on it always says exception edit command it never did this with 7.01. I mean I love my machine and all but it's annoying about the machine locking up and the bluetooth. Excuse me if I said something rong.

Hello Jose,
Forgive me for being critical, but just how much do you know
about software. And exactly what are the bugs you've discovered
in your MPower? Why don't you do as Mickey Quinzer suggested and
send "HIM" a message stating what your problem is. So far, you
haven't made it clear to the people on the list who might be able
to help you. Write "PROBLEM" in the subject line of your message
to Mr Quinzer, then in the body of your message be very specific
about that particular problem. The engineers and analysts can't
duplicate a problem and solve it if they don't know what it is.
Perhaps Mr. Quinzer will ask you to send copies of your problems
to him and tell you exactly how to send them. This is what Dean
Jackson did for me when I wrote him, being specific, about a
problem I had. He asked me to copy and send him my E-Mail folder
and told me how to do it. Humanware solved my problem. The
solution to that problem was given as a patch to everyone and
later included in 7.0.
How about giving the people who have to create the patch for
7.2 a chance to do it well. As Mr. Aldrich has so eloquently
stated, a little time will solve many of your problems, but there
is no perfect computer.
Please stop non-specific complaints which may only affect your
device and maybe it's because you haven't yet learned many of the
functions and new commands. Let this list help new owners to use
their devices and old users like me learn from people like Mr.
Aldrich, Don Bishop, Joseph Lee, sarah cranston, rhonda Clark,
richard Ring, and the many other nameless people who contribute
their time and knowledge toward making this a viable, educational
list for us all.
And thank you Sarah, for space under your rock.

Oh well, I guess certain people do not understand what we need
<grin> I mean I am enjoying my MPower and Keysoft 7.2. It's just
there's a lot of problems with the software. Well write back.

Hello; All, I agree with David on this. I think we've waited a
long time.
We need a patch because there's a lot of problems with keysoft
7.2.
Please write back.

I'm not going to wait. I just don't want to have too many
problems, and some
of the 7.2 problems are serious.

David and list,

Excuse me for saying so but how ridiculous a message like yours
below is!
You don't have to wait for anything to enjoy all the great
things the
M-power and other members of the braillenote family of products
offers to
the user! I have more problems keeping my Outlook Express under
control!
Quite often what I thought I wrote at the bottom of a post ends
up at the
beginning of my post. I suddenly noticed that my messages were
suddenly
sorting in alphabetical order rather than reading in random as
they came
in. I almost had a fit over that! My wife found someone who
told me how
to fix the problem! The casual reader of posts to this list
tends to
think everyone is having all these problems which are mentioned
on this
list! This is far from the truth! If you are looking for a
perfect
problem free computer product, you will be looking a long time,
such does
not exist anywhere! I certainly acknowledge people have had
problems with
the battery charge, joy stick not functioning, and other little
picky
things which may or may not be quite right! I think too some
people are
out there just looking for problems where none may exist at all!
I think
everybody would abandon the PC if all the uproar took place
between
outlook express, the mouse and one's speech program as it often
does about
the BN family of products we hear about on this list. If I were
to define
a problem, it would be an occurrence which prevents me from
operating my
M-power or accessing files and folders as I should be able to do
normally!
A lockup is a good example as such a problem! Losing one's
files or not
being able to access them on a storage card is another big
problem in my
judgment. Perhaps I might add anything which prevents me from
accomplishing my work efficiently! I'd say most anything else
is simply
an annoyance! Okay, I plug in my M-power to charge the battery.
The gage
shows 97 percent after two hours of charge! This happens often!
What is
the solution? Unplug the charger from the BN and plug it in
again! Wait
a few more minutes to an hour and the gage says a hundred
percent after I
unplug my unit! This may be annoying at times but it solves the
problem!
Big deal! One of the three resets usually solves a host of
problems! I
do agree if one does any of these resets including the service
reset and
their unit doesn't function properly if at all, then that person
no doubt
has a problem which needs attention from Humanware Service.
Connecting to
a wireless network was challenging for me at first, but once I
figured out
how to do so, I have had no trouble utilizing my wireless
network here at
home as well as a few networks on the road. Perhaps if more of
us could
tell potential users of the M-power what is right with it, I
think people
would see a much different picture of the BN. Believe me, there
is a lot
right with it! I do agree it is not without problems or should
I say
annoyances but then no computer I have ever used doesn't have
some kind of
problem. Can't we lighten up a bit and help new users who truly
don't
know what to expect! Some answers are indeed simple! Others
are more
complex I agree! I have used a BN product since October of
2001. Some of
what has been discussed occurred when the BN first came out or
when I
obtained one. In this time of six years, the BN now the M-power
has
greatly improved its usability! It is a much more functional
machine now
than it was when I first purchased one. I agree! It isn't
perfect but it
is truly a simple to use, functional, relatively trouble free
machine, at
least, it has been for me! I think we could keep the traffic to
a minimum
if we could determine what is truly problematic rather than what
isn't so
troubling! I think I have had fewer problems with Keymail than
I'm having
with Outlook Express! When Outlook functions properly, it is
faster, but
when things mess up, what a pain it can be! I like Keymail for
the most
part!

I'll stay by my statement that there is more right with the BN
than what
is wrong with it whether one is using seven point two or not.

This especially goes to HW dchvs out there. When will there but
a ks 7.2
patch? I am so close to getting an mpower, but I'm just
wondering when a
patch for all these annoying bugs might be available.
Thanks
