Klisten,
It is best to save it with the braille
settings.
On the WebbBraille page, you would see a link
called "Online Catalog." Press enter on the
link. The first field is author's name. The
next field is the title field. Type
"miracle." Then at the keyword field, type
"web braille." Then press enter on search
button. On the next page, press enter on the
book name that sounds familiar to you.
You'll be presented with the same page about
pledges. Use the tips provided by Kandi to
download the book.

Hello Kandi,
It Worked!
Now I have more questions!
Which format type do you save your books in
to?
Right now I have the first volume of National
Velvet in an aski
text format file and I have the settings set
to be a braille file
and use paragraph format when opening and
saving the document!
It seems that this way takes up a lot of
kealo-bites but it is
the only way I found that makes it so that it
reads it correctly
like a braille document!
This is how I titled it NATIONAL VELVET!
Volume 1.txt
Is this ok?
Here are some more questions' About Searching
for particular
books.
Or a type of book!
For example I want to find books on Miracles!
Also I have a title of a book but I am not
sure that this is the
exact title but the book should have
something to do with
miracles and the Blessed Sacrament!
How do I do the author title and keyword
searches?
If I want to find a book on miracles do I
just put the word
miracle in the keyword search box?
If I am looking for a specific book and I
know part of the title
do I just type it into the search by title
Search box?
If I want to say find all of the books by
Laura Ingles do I just
put Ingles Laura in The Search By author
Search box?
THANK You for any and all answers you can
give me concerning
these questions!
I hope to hear from you again very soon!
May GOD BLESS You And Give You HIS PEACE!
From, Kristen

Hi Kristen,
When you find the book you want on
Web-braille, it will have
links to the volumes of the book. You click
on the link for
whichever volume you want by pressing enter
on it, and then a
page with a pledge thing and then two "I
accept" buttons. You
should click the second one, the one for
notetakers. Then the
volume of the book will open. I usually copy
and paste it to the
clipboard using block commands, and then
create a file on my
storage card named with the book title and
the volume number.
Then you just paste the volume into the file.
It's complicated
at first, but it gets easier once you get
used to it. If you
need any more help, feel free to email me and
I'll do what I can.
