I don't know the qt command, but all this command (space with
246) does is erase the character that the cursor is on.

Stacey actually there is an overwrite mode. Just go to any
character you want to overwrite and press dots 2-4-6 cord and
put
the character you want or need to put. Well write back.

No, there's no option for that. I would like to see an option
for an append mode in a future release because it doesn't have
that. YOu get used to insert after a while.
