If you go to HumanWare's site (www.humanware.com) you'll be able to find
ActiveSync 3.8. Go to Options/Connectivity. Select Bluetooth. If it is
no, then it is not active. If it says yes, then the receiver is on.

I haven't been able to pair till now. the
manual says suggests to have
active sync installed on your pc along with
bluetooth for pairing. and I get
the biggest surprise of my life. there is no
activesync CD in the package.
bluetooth is on on both sides. rather, I am
not sure about on BN side.

As I've mentioned, make sure that Bluetooth
is turned on and make sure
that you are paired with your computer.
From Main Menu, go to Terminal
for Screen Reader, and at the port prompt,
select Bluetooth.

wanted to use BN as terminal for
screen reader. th tech writers for BN should
write more about this utility.
I have wasted several hours trying without
any success. Wel I have a
bluetooth usb dongle. Somebody told me on
the list that when i asked my
first question on the list that using bn for
active sync and terminal for
screenreader are totally different things,
and that is why I didn't need to
install active sync on my pc for using it as
a terminal. This is the next
thing I am going to try. installing active
sync to my pc and try.
till now every time I try to look for a
bluetooth device, bn announces
couldn't find any device.
Please go ahead if you any more suggestion.
