Well, I'm having some different readings, haven't done a Service Reset
yet.
Last week, I checked my battery status at the end of the work day. When I
turned on the unit the next day, the battery level was the same. I knew
that was inaccurate, and within a minute or so, it reset to a proper
value.
Last evening, I charged the battery. This morning, when I unplugged the
mPower, instead of receiving the Adapter Off message, I saw Battery Low
instead. I checked the battery level, and it was at 100%. Then the
battery
low message went away. I have the hardware modification that HW offered,
it
was installed a few weeks ago. I think I'll do the Service Reset at this
point, unless this is not advisable.

I completely ran down my battery! I did so the time before this last
charge. I still had to plug the charger in after 90 percent but once I
did
this, I got the gage up to a hundred percent. I'm getting the gage is
accurate message no problem. I again was on the web with a weak battery
last night! My BN stopped working and attempted a reset. I got a faint
raspberry sound then my unit went completely dead. I had to do a service
reset. Once I did this, I got the battery up to a hundred percent even
though I had to plug it in again! I haven't used my unit today after
charging it so all should be well. I certainly would recalibrate if the
gage wasn't accurate! It is showing 92 percent even though I haven't used
it
all day. The nominal charge was 1270 I believe and the discharge was
1370.
I think that is what it said. I don't worry much about the numbers. I
just
worry about how long I can use it at any one time and I have had good
service from my M-power.

I had this problem and unplugged the charger and it reported 100%. After
this, it told me I needed to recalibrate. I had a full battery when I
did
start the recalibration the next day and it took four hours to fully
charge
even though it was already full.
I would recommend doing the recalibration when you get home one day and
let
it work over night. I think the whole process took 10-12 hours for me
even
though it started with a fully charged battery.

When charging the battery and if it was plugged in for two hours and
still
not a hundred percent, unplug your charger and plug it back in again. It
should get back up to a hundred percent within another hour. I do this
often.

I'm having serious issues with my BN Mpower keeping an accurate
percentage
count on my battery lately. For example, I was busy typing up a document
today. I paused for a moment to check my battery charge status, and my BN
claimed there was 13% remaining. Less then five minutes later though, it
announced battery low. But by the time I could get my BN plugged in
(barely
10 seconds after the first battery low announcement), my BN had turned
itself off. Once Keysoft 7.2 restarted, I hurried up and removed all
cards
from my BN and turned it off to more quickly charge. When I returned 3
hours
later and checked the battery gauge, my BN reported 80% charged, but when
I
went to support information mode and checked charge status, it replied
trickle charging. I checked the gauge accuracy, and it came back with
accurate, plus or minus 2 percent. So I turned it back off and left it to
charge for another hour, before I came back and rechecked all these
stats.
None had changed, so I decided to try a recalibration of the battery. But
when I came back another hour later and hit spacebar to see how far in
the
recalibration process it'd reached, I was told that it was still charging
the battery. What in the world is going on here, and how do I straighten
out
this problem?
