Floor.
I am getting comp 4 as one of the bluetooth serial ports. There won't be any need to work with the INI file. Only if these two guys were ready to recognise each other and then get paired. I don't have any other bluetooth device to check if the fault is with bluetooth in my BN unit.
Regards

His choices are: If using JAWS7.0 download 7.10; or, in any case, he can indeed edit the jfw.ini file. However, it's necessary first to install the brailleNote on one of the recognised com ports, even if it's not connected thereto. Then that com port number (for the brailleNote) may be changed in jfw.ini. (I've done it before, so I know. JAWS thereafter will work with the BrailleNote device set to com port 8, or whichever.) Now if only my last computer could have waited until I'd installed JAWS7.10 before dying!

 noteswh
note 1which in bluetooth communication an
authentification code is a password that

my answer to your original questionwh there
is a file called jfwini that controls how
jaws behaves at startup do not edit it
yourself the the the information that you
