Hi Matthew, You can turn off the format markers shown at the end of lines and paragraphs using an option in Braille Display Options that only appears when you are in the Book Reader or the Word Processor. So open a book, access the Options Menu, then Braille Display Options. Move along the list until you get to "Show new lines in reading mode as...". It will currently show as "linear Braille format". Change it to one of the other options, such as "Indent 2 cells".

Hello, after four years of use, something has corrupted the flash disc, and I guess I need to put back all of the books on it. Luckily, I have them stored elsewhere for easy retrieval. The thing is, I haven't had to change the particular option in four years, so I can't find it anywhere in the menus. I need it not to tell me computer braille is required when opening a book, and not to display the format markers when reading. Whatever option it was, it must have been set and left alone. It didn't used to say computer braille is required or show format markers in the book reader. Keep in mind, this is Keysoft version 3.3, because this was purchased without any updates and no servicing plan by the state organization. Thanks a lot. Matthew Tired of HotMail?
