Sorry, but I cannot help with the format indicators. To turn off the computer braille advisement, though, go to Options > Keyboard Settings > "Do you wish to be advised when computer braille is required?" (y/n). Set this to No and it should stop. Sorry about your Flash Disk; maybe you can just use all your files on a CF card with a PCMCIA adapter? Just a thought.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Turning off braille format markers in book
reader?

Hello, after four years of use, something has corrupted the flash
disc, and
I guess I need to put back all of the books on it. Luckily, I
have them
stored elsewhere for easy retrieval. The thing is, I haven't had
to change
the particular option in four years, so I can't find it anywhere
in the
menus. I need it not to tell me computer braille is required when
opening a
book, and not to display the format markers when reading.
Whatever option it
was, it must have been set and left alone. It didn't used to say
computer
braille is required or show format markers in the book reader.
Keep in mind,
this is Keysoft version 3.3, because this was purchased without
any updates
and no servicing plan by the state organization.
Thanks a lot.
Matthew
