Alex,
The hidden files/folders are designed to not allows the user to access
critical files that are needed by KeySoft. Even though HW implements this
feature, the other problem is, "how are we supposed to know if that
particular file/folder is hidden or not?" Just my opinion.

Go to the file manager > directory so you can see the "hidden" 
files. Rename them again, replacing the extension. That is another feature I
would like to see: BACKSPACE+H to hide or, for lack of a better term,
"un-hide" files or folders. Anyway, let us know how it goes.
