Nancy,
The CF slot thing is very out of control. Did you try to recalibrate your
battery? What is your hardware revision?
1. From anywhere in KeySoft, go to Options/Support Info with Space with
O/Space with I (FN+O/Read+I).
2. Connect the AC charger. Be sure that you have saved any work that you
have to. From Support Info mode, press R for recalibration.
3. After about 2 and a half hours, the battery will start discharging
itself. After about 12 hours, BrailleNtoe will tell you that it is
recharging.
4. When it is done, press Space with E/ESC to exit Recalibration window
(that's what I call it). Exit the Support Info Console window (that's what I
personally call it) by pressing Space with E/ESC twice. You have just
recalibrated your battery.

Subject: re: [Braillenote] Hardware ProblemCF Slot

I have the same problem with my compact flash slot. There seems to be a
piece that is loose and sliding around in there. I can move it over and
then I can put the CF card in but this certainly is not right. I have to
call to get an RMA number either today or tomorrow so I can send it in. I
have a few things that need to be fixed anyway: the battery will not
recalibrate, and my dot
5 key sticks. So off it goes. I will be lost until my machine is back
though. Nancy
