Hi, The primary advantage is that Keynote Gold is a little more responsive than Eloquence. Most of the time you probably won't notice it; it's most noticeable when moving a large file, for example.
of course, some people prefer Keynote Gold to Eloquence. Personally I use Keynote Gold most of the time, but switch to Eloquence when reading books because that is the voice I use on the computer when reading. Similarly, on the PC, I use DECtalk ACCESS32 and only use Eloquence for reading. It's personal preference. That's all I can think of, really. But what purpose does it serve switching synthesisers? As soon as I found eloquence on the unit I changed over to eloquence, for some reason by default you get keygold. I might be missing the extra advantage you might have, if you use keygold? ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
