To be quite honest, I'm not sure. I have the same issue with my 5 GB
PCMCIA card.
My 1 GB Thumb Drive doesn't work at all, but my 512 MB one does. The
transfer rate to the 512 is quicker than to the 1 GB.
I think, then, that the Mpower takes longer recognising drives with a
lower transfer speed and that sometimes it will give up after
a while.
