I wouldn't think that they can take the bn away from you. Did you specify that you wanted accommodations-- I.E.: test in braille, etc? You should be able to specify that you need to use an electronic note taker. They might want to be able to see what you type and to make sure that you don't have notes on whatever you're being tested on, but they shouldn't take the bn away from yyou. After all, the bn is the quivalent to a pencil to sighted people.
