Kitty;
You might want to call HW and verify the number on the unit.  There
could be an error in loging it or, you never know, it could just be a
typo on the unit.  You also might want to go to either utilities or
imformation and check what number is listed on the machine.  I think you
just need space with I.

Jose, I tried for about a half an hour yesterday morning before I
finally 
capitulated and asked if it was something I was doing wrong, which I was

almost sure it wasn't, but I figured I'd ask anyway, and I tried again

night. I got nowhere both times. Not sure why that's the case. It's not 
really urgent, just something his teacher thinks should happen, if it
can. 
And being that I'm the only student in the school with more technical 
expertise than the teachers, they always come find me when they want
things 
done. Oh well, at least I won't have to argue with that when I get my
new 
unit. It will already have the latest version of KeySoft on it. Still a
bit 
confused as to why it worked with my old serial number, and not the
other 
student's current one.
