Ahhh! Thanks very much Alex. I thought it might be a template problem. The template name doesn't specify whether it is Braille or text. I have use Braille in the actual fields so maybe I need some simple instructions about doing templates or at least where to look in the manual. Sometimes I find what I'm looking for is difficult to locate.
Sorry to be a bother but a prompt reply would b e so much appreciated. Thanks also for the hint about the printer USB attachment. You're right; that's exactly what I need. What a blessing we have people on this list who can hit the nail straight on the list. God bless you all! It must be a keyword Braille file if you are exporting to a braille file and keyword text if you are going to any other type of file. You cannot have an MS Word template, but you can put records in an MSW file using a KeyWord Text template. I know this is not your question, but it sounds like you have a regular USB cable; you need a printer USB cable, which has one end shaped like a square with two of its adjacent corners cut off. Just take the converter to any electronics store and they should be able to help you out. Good luck with everything.
