Greetings:

I too would support and appreciate a second KEY Planner option.

I average 6 client appointments a day, some agency and some private. I need to give a copy of a weekly agency schedule to my manager each week. It would be sweet if my private clients would not show up on my agency calendar. Or, if the private button in the the appointment dialog would result in the the Planner not printing out those appointments.

Yes indeedee. I have already found it most useful in creating
logbooks
and gigs journals for TAFE. Perhaps this could be something that
HumanWare could look at in the same way one can create more than
one
address list.

In saying this, I'm aware that it has been strongly recommended
by the
moderators that suggestions go to HumanWare staff but my usual
contact
is on holidays at the moment and I don't know how to contact Dean
Jackson's replacement. With this in mind, I hope any staff
reading this
will forgive me and pass it on to the appropriate sources.

Thanks.

Michele

Michelle,
I would say that you use Database Manager if
you areoing to do reception work. Do you
have KeySoft 7.0 or higher on your
BrailleNote? There is no way of creating
another KeyPlan database.

Subject: [Braillenote] Creating Second
Appointment Book

Hi BN users!
Do you know if it's
possible to create a
second appointment
book, say for work,
and one for private
with the BN? I were
wondering because I
thought it would
make things easier
if I got a job where
I needed to keep
track of
appointments for
others, epreate
another appointment
book with the BN,
instead of using the
one in Outlook which
can be quite tricky.
If I used my own BN,
it would not be as
costly for those who
would be supplying
the technical
support I needed.
Do other people use
these BRAILLENotes
for work,
particularly
reception work and
if so, how do they
make best use of
them? I have already
considered using the
BN as a Braille
display to save
costs, since I much
prefer Braille to
speech output,
though I know I
would still probably
need Jaws.

Thanks for any
feedback.

Michele
