A lot of times you don't really even need those cds. You can't install them
on a bn or vn anyway I don't think. I didn't need to use anything on my
laptop when I installed my dsl.

To add to that question, there are dsl connections where you need to
install certain files to your computer before being able to use the
connection, such as Bellsouth.
So what do u do with the installation CD?

In order to use dsl with the braille notes or voicenotes with out a
wireless router you need a lower socket eithernet card if I am not
mistaken. I don't know how they work though really and I don't know where
you can get them. I don't know how they hook up to the dsl modem either.
