Hi all, I've been having so much trouble with my treasured BrailleNote and I'm wondering, perish the thought, if it should go to HW. I haven't been on the list the past couple of days because I couldn't send or receive email. I'm not sure is that's the POP servers fault or the BN's. Now I find out that the reason I couldn't learn how to use all of the thumb keys is because the Previous key doesn't function at all and it hasn't been working since I installed my 6.11 update which was about 6 weeks ago if not longer. Also, when I use the task key it returns me to the to the Inbox rather than the email folder that I created, "my email". When I press space-1-2-5-6 in a any file on my CF card it takes me all the way to Keyword and sometimes to Main Menu. There are several other quirky things also happening so I'm almost ready to keep it and do the best I that I can and get frustrated. The BrailleNote to me has been literally a lifesaver but, of course, there are severl other reasons why I hesitate to send it in including the amount of time and expense that it dictates. The last time I sent it in the problem wasn't solved for which I was charged and they had it for 2-1/2 months after promising that I would receive it very quickly if I waited until they were less busy. Have any of you people had this trouble? O. K. I'm going to attempt sending this. I hold my breath every time I send or receive email. Here goes! Eugenio p s I'm still here writing this in my outbox hoping that my send and receive email will start working again which it sometimes does. In the meantime I thought of another trick that my BrailleNote plays on me. In the email mode: when it asks if I want a copy, I say "yes", and it asks me in what folder, I space to the folder and press enter, and lo! and behold, it never leaves a copy. Also, in the "email action" mode when I press "copy this email to another folder?", no soap, it doesn't obey me. I could think of a few more tricks but I might get yelled at. Anyway I'm going to try another reset and see what happens. Leaving you and the outbox, I hope the latter.
