Hi,
I was very concerned about sending in my BN for repair and not
having access to my documents while it was away. For this
reason, I do much of my work in Word or ASCII. However, I tried
opening a .kwt document in Note pad and was pleasantly surprised
to find that there was some "junk" at the top, but most of the
file was clean. Try making a copy of some of the files and then
open them to see what is there.

Subject: [Braillenote] converting kwt to txt or doc
Hi, My girlfriend had a VoiceNote that needed repair, so she
backed up all the files onto her computer and sent it in for
repair. She was told that the mother board was bad and that it
would be cheaper to buy a new VoiceNote rather than fix that one.
So now she doesn't have her VoiceNote any longer, but she now has
these many files which she can't access because they are in a
"kwt" file format.
Is there any program available to convert these files to
"txt" or "doc" on a PC?
Thanks for any help, she really is lost without many of these
files.
