Hi,
I had always heard that with a rechargable battery it was best to
run the battery all the way down and then charge it all the way
up. This supposedly keeps the battery from developing a shorter
life. Is that not the case with the Braille Note? I use mine
off the battery a whole lot and often run it down pretty far if
not all the way to 1 or 0%. Am I doing the wrong thing? I sure
don't want to ruin my battery .

Brian, you are absolutely correct, but I think with minor
statement. If you battery is above 90 percent, it's not a good
idea. If memory serves, you shouldn't plug it in until it is
between 80 and 90 percent, unless all that's changed.
Hoping this is a
wonderful day for you.
Warmest Regards,
Rhonda Clark

Dear Sissy:
It is best to run your unit off of ac power when available as the
more charge/discharge cycles you put the battery through, the
sooner the battery needs replacing.
I think the User Guide recommends you completely discharge then
fully recharge the battery about once every three months to keep
it healthy.
Brian
