Remember, after this next upgrade, there will be no
more upgrades for the Classic BN. The transplant is
well worth the price! I did it in October and I am very
pleased with the features in my unit. Also, being able
to use so much more ways of storing data is an
excellent plus! The SD cards are very small for
carrying around with you, using various storage devices
that plug into the USB port is wonderful, downloading
email in just two to five minutes as opposed to half an
hour is great, and having the extra memory onboard the
unit is fantastic! There are other things that are good
for students, and people who work, but you would have
to experience them for yourself in order to enjoy them
at the max. It really is a most enjoyable little
machine!

Subject: [Braillenote] new to the list
Hi All,
I am new to this lest now. I have what is now called
the classic, running 7.0, and hopefully soon, 7.2.
My wife also has a braille note classic.
For those of you who have done so, is it worth the 2100
or so to upgrade to the empower? We are both happy
with what we have now. Any thoughts on this issue
would be greatly appreciated.
