Is there a sapi5 version of KNG? There's your answer. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alex Parks Sent: Tuesday, January 02, 2007 5:26 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Braillenote] Using KNG as voice for BookPort?
Hi all: American Printing House makes a product called a BookPort. This device can read .wav and .mp3 files, as well as different types of text-containing files when filtered through special software. This software also allows one to use synthesized voices to "read" a text file, save that reading as mp3, and send it. Is there a way to use KNG for this translation? I think the "reading" uses SAPI 5 voices, or something like that.
