Rich,
No, size is not important. If her SD card has that write-protect switch, then it might have moved to write-protect mode. She needs to switch back so it can be written.

Subject: [Braillenote] Two Gig SD Cards and
the BN

Greetings:
My fiancé received for a holiday gift a
Sandisk 2 gig SD card. Note that this particular device can serve either as an SD card or a USB thumb drive, because when you unfold it, there is a tiny mechanism that can fit perfectly into a USB port. However, when the device is flat, it looks like any ordinary SD card. She attempted to back up files to this card, and received errors indicating that the card could not be written to. I have the same model only it is just one gig and it works fine with the Braillenote. Is there some kind of size limit that we are unaware of?
Note that when used with a PC as a USB thumb
drive, it functions just fine.
