If you exit/escape from one program to the next, then you are actually
closing that program. However, if you use the keyboard shortcuts (i.e.
function+8, etc) then you are switching between programs. Switching between
programs allows the programs to remain open.

Subject: [Braillenote] Switching between programs

Good day everyone,

When switching from one application in Keysoft to another, I
have noticed that sometimes when I completely exit out of one
application I wind back up at the main menu and my first
application has also closed. This doesn't always happen. For
instance, if I am writing an e-mail and switch to the book
reader, I can close down the book reader and I will land back in
the e-mail program. However, if I exit out of the e-mail
application, I find myself at the main menu and my book is no
longer open. I realize this is not anything all that important
but was wondering if someone out there might be able to explain
the logic of how the multitasking works in Keysoft. Thanks!

Nikki B.
