Hi Tom, Maybe you're not doing anything wrong. For, when I tried using my SBC dial-up number with my cell phone and BN and Cingular service awhile back, I wasn't able to use my phone that way--well, at least not until I got a data plan. Best I can tell, when I got the data plan, they added CSD and data connect to my account, then I could use the phone as a modem both with my SBC dial-up number, as well as with the GPRS data plan. The dial-up number, when used, went against my cell phone air time minutes, while using the settings and dialing string for the GPRS went against my data plan usage. Vicky Collins [EMAIL PROTECTED]
