No matter what I do, I am not able to use my ethernet connection with my BN.
More about it later, but I want to upgrade to build 47. Can someone please
tell me how to do it without connecting the BN to internet?

Hi Martin,
The PK already has built-in drivers for this card. When you insert this
card, PK should say, "Network Card Ready/CompactFlash Card Ready" or "card
inserted" twice (depending on KeySoft version). You can start using the
card right away.

Try Sandisk Connect card which has 128 MB
storage as well as WiFi.
