Hi,
With all due respect to the answers that have gone before on this
thread, I the owner and user of a Braille Blazer can state with
certainty that, edge to edge, one can fit 34 cells on an 8.5 by
11 sheet of paper. For writing that is for my own use, and will
be bound by a simple staple, I can easily use 32 characters per
line
If I plan to use a 19-hole comb binding, I decrease the line
length to 31 characters giving 2 for the left margen and 1 for
the right margen.
If you have a Blazer, one of the steps in setting it up is to
emboss some of the provided documents that show how any
characters per line and how many lines (27) per page. This will
give you a way to determin how wide you like your margens to be.

Subject: [Braillenote] CHARACTERS PER LINE
Hi, Everyone!
How many characters per line are there using a Braille
Blazer and 8-1/2 by 11 paper?
Thanks for your assistance with this.
