First, be sure your router can access the Internet. I usually get the kind of message you receive when my Linksys has lost contact with the ISP. If you can reach the internet from your computer, then: Did you invent your own WEP key or did you let the router choose it? If the router chose it, the letters in the key will be in upper case because it chooses a hexadecimal number. When you copy the key into your BN, you must keep the letters in the key in upper case. At least that worked for me. Although I have never tried it, if you make up your own key, I would suspect that you need either to stick to 26 numbers or be sure that you use only the first 6 letters of the alphabet in upper case when composing your key. This will keep it hexadecimally correct, which may be important to the router.
