What is the outgoing configuration for your email?  It probably works
because it is not smtp.myisp.mail

Another way to find the mac number is to do as follows:

Go to options menu
Go connections
Go to WiFi
Go to search for active networks
On the network you wish to check use chord with i and you can
read the number
