Hi, I used to believe these dot 5 signs were a part of UK braille, but I found out from someone on the Duxusers list that they aren't in the UK system. All of these dot 5 signs are in the grade 3 braille code.
In order to get the BN to pronounce these dot 5 signs correctly, the pronunciation dictionary would need to be changed to allow punctuation. If you wanted to use grade 3 braille as the default translation instead of grade 2, a table would have to be created for that code. Presently, neither the full version of Duxbury nor the limited version in the BN supports grade 3 braille. You can turn off speech and read the symbols in braille.
