Mike, Richard and list, In order to do that, HIMS has to announce a production of a speech only unit - or better, a QWERTY version. I sometimes visit their Korean home page and BBS systems and there is currently no word about these version (I think the Korean users over there are not interested in these versions; When HIMS representative comes to CSUN 2007, I'm definitely going to have a word about it with this person). When Korean versions of VoiceNote and BrailleNote QT versions (at this time, there is only a Korean version for BrailleNote BT32 and BT18) are released, HIMS might be forced to release both speech only and QWERTY versions of Braille Sense. Cheers, Joseph

My biggest objection about the Braille Sense is that they don't seem interested in producing a Braille Sense with a qwerty keyboard. In discussions that I've had with GW Micro, I have advised them strongly that they would sell more Braille Sense's if this were to come to pass. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joseph Lee Sent: Wednesday, January 31, 2007 2:19 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Notetaker comparisons Richard, I think HISM representative said that they are using their own translator (I have to log onto to their Korean website and see what I find it there, or I have to ask either GW Micro or HIMS when they come to CSUN 2007). I might ask the Braille Sense user group (based in Korea) about what translators they are using.
