Hi, Peggy,
I took my BN classic on a Celebrity cruise off the California
coast in 2003, after I retired. It worked well, I could charge
it with no problem, and I could often get email via my cell
phone, as we were never too far off land.
I also used my tape recorder, with its charger, with no problem.
They're wired for normal electrical use.
Enjoy your cruise! They're a fantastic way to travel!
