I think you meant to say an Electet Microphone. This is a generic type of microphone, not a brand name. I think an Electet microphone is also known as a capacitor microphone, but stand to be corrected. In general, take your unit with you when you go to the microphone store and ask if you may try the mike you intend to buy before you buy it. Good luck.
