Hi, I'm having card problems too. I constantly get the message 'card not
recognised'. This started happening over the weekend. I'm using an Mpower
BT. I have Keysoft 7.2 Build 47 installed. Even when the Scansoft wireless
card which I purchased off Humanware at a price of £76, and have only had it
for 6 months. On the two times out of ten when my card gets past the error
message stage, I look in Connectivity and cursor down to Ethernet and press
y for 'yes'. I then go to 'scan' and sometimes it says 'Netgear Wireless
SSID . . .' other times it says 'no visible networks'. When it scans and has
found my router I go to check 'Send and Receive email'. I check that it says
Connectivity 'Netgear' and email Account 'BT'. It then says 'please wait'
and does this without doing anything else. I left it for half an hour and
the display still read 'please wait'. I pressed space with e and it said
'skip' something or other I can't remember. I could get back to 'Main Menu'
and other things on the machine but I can seem to use email or the internet
because I can't connect. Any ideas? Is it the card? Six months is ridiculous
for something to pack up when you have to pay so much for it, then you can
get a talking PDA now for £400 with everything the BN's got on it, well
Humanware must be raking in the profits!
Cheers, Steve

i used to have trouble with setting my m-power all the time.
the problem was mainly caused by my cisco aeronet wireless card.
i didn't have this problem with my old bn before i had the transplant
done.
i've noticed that if i put my wireless card in to my m-power before
switching it on, and don't take it out until i switch it off, it never
locks up and i rarely have to reset the machine now.
cheers, richard.

Only three times? I'd say that you are way behind: LOL! I had to
reset mine
twice yesterday and I average about eight to ten times a week. I
think that
7.2 just doesn't do all it should and is a little unstable.

HI. All,
Today while at work I went to look up something in the bn and it
wouldn't
get off the main menu. Then I turned off and back on again and
nothing
happened.
I hit the reset button and it did reset but, it seems I 'm having
to reset a
lot lately. any idea why that is?
I 've only had the bn 2 weeks and i"ve already had to reset it 3
times.
Thanks,
Maurine

Hello:
When I received my BN mPower I had the same problem. The
problem was a
defective battery. I am sorry to give you this sad news, but
the only
answer is to send it back for a replacement.
Best of luck.
JD
